Traveling Girl Scouts

Traveling Girl Scouts group is dedicated to providing Internation Travel opportunities for older Girl Scouts throughout Northeast Ohio. Traveling Girl Scouts hold monthly meetings, conduct money earning activities, have fun with your sister Girl Scouts and participate in numerous community service projects.

The upcoming trip for 2008/2009 is Berlin/Krakow, and Prague. For more information on this special interest travel group, contact Beth Lewin at 440-446-0140.

High Adventure Girl Scout Programming

Come join the high adventure troop on a trip of a lifetime. Every Girl Scout, age 14 or entering 9th grade in fall 2009 is esligible for this trip to Costa Rica.

WKDD Kidz Day

WKDD Kidz Day is the ultimate outdoor playground featuring activities and exhibits reserved just for fun!

This outdoor event features inflatables, bounce-a-rounds, slides, animal petting area, entertainers, live talent performances and Starz tomorrow Talent Competition Finals.

Visit the GSNEO booth at the only interactive festival created just for kids!

Tickets are $5 at the door.

Camp Timberwolf
Family Day

Saturday, August 9
10 am - 7 pm

Camp Timberwolf is located at Camp Sugarbush
Kinsman, Ohio

Gilr Scouts of North East Ohio will be holding a Free Family Day for registered Girl Scouts with Special Needs, ages 5 - 21, and their families.

A dinner of hot dogs, baked beans, vegetables, and dessert for both campers and their family will be provided. Lunch is not provided but families are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy at Camp Timberwolf. (Campers and family members with special dietary restrictions are asked to supply their own lunch/dinner.)

Program activities will be available such as swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, nature program, and much more!

The families are responsible for their campers at all times. Any lifiting or moving of a camper must be done by family members, including in and out of the pool. A chair lift is available at the pool.

To register for this free one-day event, and/or to register as a Girl Scout ($10), please contact Debbie Ayers, East Service Center, 800-362-9430 by noon on Friday, August 1, 2008.

2008 Ohio State Fair
Girl Scout Talent Competition

August 2, 2008

This competition is open to Girl Scouts of all ages and talent levels. We are looking for group, troops, and individuals to compete in one or more of the following categories: Baton/Flag, Dance, Instrumental, Miscellaneous and Vocal. All acts must comply with Girl Scout values.
